SLOW COOKER PINEAPPLE BARBECUE MEATBALLS

SLOW COOKER PINEAPPLE BARBECUE MEATBALLS

This was very enjoyable. DH and DS thought the sauce was a bit much after awhile. I only used one bottle of BBQ sauce instead of 2. We served this with rice. I’ll be making this again! Wish I’d had this recipe last week for a potluck.

What could be easier; this is really tasty too. I had a jar of apricot and pineapple preserves so left out the chunk…served over pasta. ThX for posting. Made for CameraLess Chefs.

INGREDIENTS:

1 (16 oz.) frozen meatballs
1 (18 oz.) bottle preferred BBQ sauce
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Reserved pineapple juice

PREPARATION:

Place meatballs in the bottom of slow cooker.
Pour barbecue sauce and pineapple chunks (with juices) over the meatballs.
Add brown sugar and garlic powder and stir everything together.
Cover slow cooker and cook on high for 2 hours, or until meatballs are fully warmed through.
